Report to General Assembly & Accountability & Implementation Board on prekindergarten system established under Blueprint for Maryland's Future due Dec. 31, 2027 (Chapter 374, Acts of 2025).
In July 2025, the General Assembly required the State Department of Education to convene the Prekindergarten System Analysis Workgroup (Chapter 374, Acts of 2025).
The Workgroup is to conduct an analysis of the mixed delivery, publicly funded prekindergarten system authorized by the General Assembly under the Blueprint for Maryland's Future (Chapter 165, Acts of 2024; Code Education Article, secs. 7-1A-01 through 7-1A-11).
Authorization for the Workgroup ends June 30, 2028.
