    Report to Senate Education, Energy & the Environment Committee & House Economic Matters Committee due Nov. 1, 2024 (Chapter 452 & 453, Acts of 2024).

    In July 2024, the General Assembly authorized creation of the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Workgroup (Chapter 452 & 453, Acts of 2024).

    The Workgroup is to develop a framework for reliability and reporting standards for electric vehicle (EV) charging stations; study and make recommendations regarding which government entities have responsibility for ensuring accountability regarding charging stations; and make recommendations on adopting and implementing regulations that may:

    Workgroup recommendations are to

    Thirteen members constitute the Workgroup.

    Authorization for the Workgroup ends June 30, 2026.
